ACCESSIBILITY

We want everyone to be able to use the Global Solidarity Foundation website.

Our commitment

The Global Solidarity Foundation is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Semantic structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
• Text and interface colours that meet AA contrast (at least 4.5:1 for normal text).
• A visible keyboard focus indicator on links, buttons and form fields.
• Descriptive labels on links and buttons, including those that open in a new tab.
• Form fields with visible, programmatically associated labels.
• A skip-to-content link and clear page regions (header, navigation, main, footer).
• Reduced-motion support that pauses animation for visitors who prefer less motion.
• Alternative text on meaningful images.
• Headings, links and keyboard focus that stay clear of the fixed header, so content is never hidden behind it.
• Interactive controls sized to be easy to tap and click.

Known limitations

We are continually improving and some areas may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party or embedded content may not always meet the same standard. We welcome feedback so we can fix issues quickly.
